Estimate only; the instructor's gradebook governs.

Flat: new = raw + k. Square-root: new = 10 * sqrt(raw). Linear rescale: a = (100 - target)/(100 - mean), b = 100(1 - a), new = raw*a + b (class mean -> target, 100 anchored at 100). All clamped to [0, 100].

Standard psychometric score-scaling methods (flat, square-root, linear rescale), by practice.

Public; the scaling formulas are standard classroom and psychometric practice.

Estimate only. Readability formulas and similar metrics are derived from a representative population and have known edge-case noise. The classroom teacher governs final text selection, grade placement, and assessment decisions.
