Details, formula, and sources
Sheets = wall_area / sheet_area + waste factor. Mud (joint compound) = 1 gal per ~70 ft² of seams. Tape = ~0.4 ft per ft² of wall. Screws ≈ 1 per ft² (16 in OC).
