Conduit Bends Between Pull Points (360-Degree Rule)

Sums up to six conduit bend angles and checks the NEC 358.26 (and matching Chapter 3 .26) limit of 360 degrees of total bend (four quarter bends) between pull points, with the equivalent quarter-bend count and the verdict to add a pull point. An offset counts both of its bends and a saddle all three; the AHJ governs.

Formula and source

total_deg = sum of the entered bend angles; quarter_bends_eq = total_deg / 90; verdict: total_deg <= 360 within limit, else insert a pull point.

Maximum bends between pull points (360 degrees / four quarter bends), NEC 2023 358.26 and the matching Chapter 3 .26 sections, by name.
